Artist's Bio
I was born in Newton County but, like so many people from Newton County, I was raised in Kansas City. I maintain a cabin and studio on Mount Sherman where I feel fortunate to be able spend summers. My artistic spirit is very much grounded in nature which manifests itself in all of my artistic endeavors whether it be dyeing textiles to be fashioned into garments, sculpting clay, or developing intaglio prints of flora and fauna.
